Through this program, ABCDE aims to ease some of these barriers and help deserving candidates move one step closer to their goals.
This grant reflects our mission of supporting the next generation of Egyptian physicians and investing in future leaders who will contribute to healthcare in both the United States and Egypt.
What Is the Grant?
The ABCDE Grant is designed to provide financial assistance to Egyptian medical graduates applying for U.S. residency programs. The grant may help cover essential parts of the residency application process, including:
ERAS application fees
NRMP registration fees
USMLE transcript requests
Visa-related expenses
Other residency application-related costs
We encourage applicants who are serious about pursuing residency in the U.S. and who would benefit meaningfully from financial support to apply.
Every year, many talented Egyptian medical graduates work tirelessly to pursue residency training in the United States. Application Review Period
All submitted applications will undergo a structured review process by the ABCDE Grants Committee.

Virtual Interviews
Selected applicants will be invited for brief virtual interviews as part of the evaluation process.
Mid-August 2026
Results Announcement
All selected applicants will be notified via email.
August 24th, 2026
Grant Distribution
Awarded grants will be disbursed no later than this date.
