About Me
I am Omar Hafz, currently a PGY-1 Family Medicine resident at Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire.
I graduated from Ain Shams University in 2020 and practiced medicine in Egypt for three years, including one year at Saudi German Hospital.
In 2023, I joined Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Enteric Neuroscience Program (ENSP).
These diverse clinical and research experiences have shaped my passion for mentorship. I believe in the SMART framework—setting goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.
