We invite experienced physicians to join our one-on-one online mentorship program, where mentors guide Egyptian applicants through the residency or fellowship application process. This includes reviewing personal statements, refining CVs, and improving interview skills.

Your role is to share insights, offer personalized support, and help future trainees navigate the path to U.S. medical training — one session at a time.

We welcome our mentors who are willing to host Egyptian medical graduates for clinical rotations or observerships at their U.S. institutions. These experiences offer invaluable exposure to the U.S. healthcare system and help students build clinical skills, confidence, and strong letters of recommendation.

In our program, each mentor leads a small research group of 4–7 Egyptian medical graduates or trainees. Together, they work on a clinical research project — from idea development and literature review to data analysis and manuscript preparation.

The mentor provides guidance, sets expectations, and helps shape the project toward publication or presentation. It’s a collaborative model designed to foster learning, build research skills, and produce meaningful academic work.

The Reviewing Committee is responsible for evaluating submitted cases using a structured rubric based on educational value, clinical relevance, innovation, and feasibility. They select the top 1–2 cases for presentation in each session and may offer feedback on others.

They also serve an advisory role by recommending speakers or panelists and ensuring the selected content aligns with ABCDE’s educational mission. The committee typically includes 3–5 physicians with subspecialty expertise from both the U.S. and Egypt, ensuring diverse and balanced perspectives.

The Chapter Director oversees all operations within their specialty chapter. They make final decisions on case selection and speaker invitations, coordinate with the ABCDE Executive Team, and help identify and invite panelists for each session. Their leadership ensures the chapter stays organized, educational, and impactful.

Speakers and panelists lead the case discussion, sharing clinical insights, key learning points, and evidence-based practices. They may also co-present the case, engage in audience Q&A, and help make the session interactive and educational.

Panelists are selected for their subject-matter expertise and strong communication skills.
