The ABCDE Mentorship Program is a structured, one-on-one mentoring initiative designed to support Egyptian medical graduates pursuing residency or fellowship training in the United States. Through personalized sessions with experienced U.S.-based Egyptian physicians, the program offers guidance on every step of the application process—including personal statements, CVs, letters of recommendation, interview preparation, and career planning. It also provides a platform for mentors to give back by sharing their knowledge and experience with future colleagues.

The ABCDE Mentorship Program is open to anyone seeking guidance in pursuing medical training in the United States. While we welcome all applicants, priority is given to Egyptian medical graduates as part of our mission to support and uplift the Egyptian medical community. There are no strict eligibility criteria—if you’re looking for mentorship and are committed to your journey, we’re here to help.

Anyone with experience navigating the U.S. medical system—whether through residency, fellowship, or clinical practice—is welcome to join as a mentor. We value mentors who are not only knowledgeable but also committed to guiding and supporting others with sincerity and consistency. While prior mentoring experience is a plus, what matters most is your willingness to give back. All specialties and subspecialties are welcome, as we aim to provide diverse and comprehensive support to our mentees.

Our mentorship sessions are conducted through MentorSimply, a scheduling platform where mentors create a profile, set their availability, and link their Google Meet account. Mentees can browse mentor profiles, choose a suitable time slot, and book a 60-minute one-on-one session directly through the platform. Once booked, both mentor and mentee receive a confirmation with the meeting link. This structure ensures flexibility for mentors and a smooth, professional experience for mentees.
