Empowering Egyptian Medical Graduates on the Path to U.S. Residency

We’re excited to announce the launch of the ABCDE Grant Award Program for this year, a key initiative by American Board-Certified Doctors for Egypt to support Egyptian medical graduates navigating the challenging journey toward U.S. residency.

🎯 What Is the Grant?

The ABCDE Grant is designed to financially assist Egyptian applicants in covering essential steps of the residency application process. This includes costs such as:

ERAS fees
NRMP registration
USMLE transcript requests
Visa-related expenses
Other application-related needs

📅 Application Opens: July 7, 2025

We are proud to stand behind future Egyptian doctors committed to advancing their training in the U.S. healthcare system — and giving back to their communities both in Egypt and abroad.

💡 Who Should Apply?

This grant is intended for:

Egyptian medical graduates currently applying for U.S. residency programs
Individuals with a demonstrated commitment to academic and professional excellence
Applicants with financial need

📋 How to Apply

The application process is simple:

Complete the online application form (opens July 7th)
Submit required documents
Selected applicants will be contacted for a brief virtual interview
